Prof Holger Lode is Professor and Chair of Paediatrics at University Medicine Greifswald, Germany, and Director of the Centre of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. He is an internationally recognised paediatric oncologist with particular expertise in neuroblastoma and immunotherapy. Prof Lode has led and contributed to multiple international clinical trials, including the development of anti‑GD2 antibody therapies now approved in Europe. He is an active member of the SIOP Europe Neuroblastoma Group (SIOPEN) and has published extensively in translational and clinical paediatric oncology.
