John Hunter Children's Hospital

Coen is a paediatric infectious diseases physician and general paediatrician. He is clinical lead of the HNE Kids Immunisation Service and the Department of Paediatric Infectious Diseases. He combines his clinical work with research at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI) and teaching at the University of Newcastle. He has a specific interest in infections in immunocompromised children, improving antimicrobial stewardship and building embedded clinical trials capacity.
