Dr Abigail Franklin

Abbie initially trained in Medicine at Edinburgh University. Meeting a boy from Australia changed her plans, leading to a move to Australia. Abbie works at the Manly Adolescent and Young Adult Hospice- the first of its type in Australia, and is the Network Director for Palliative Care for the Northern Sydney Local Health District. Abbie has special interests in Cancer Pain Management and care of the Adolescent and Young Adult patient. At home Abbie lives with the boy from Australia, their two teenage children and their fabulous chocolate Labrador.
