Dr. Tabori is a translational paediatric neuro-oncologist with clinical and biological expertise in PLGG. He is currently Neuro-Oncologist Section Head, Senior Scientist and Principal Investigator at The Hospital for Sick Kids, Toronto, Canada and Professor in the department of Paediatrics and Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Uri Tabori maintains an active clinical practice in the treatment of children with cancer, focusing particularly on those with brain tumours. His clinical and research program is focused on combining biological and translational research in pediatric oncology. Most notably, his research is interested in studying telomere maintenance and cancer recurrence, cancer predisposition syndromes and paediatric gliomas.
