Dr Susan Russell is head of the Haematology Programme and Director of the Haemophilia Treatment Centre in the Kid’s Cancer Centre (KCC) at Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick (SCH). She has gained considerable experience over the years in the management of children with vascular malformations with her multidisciplinary team colleagues in the Vascular Tumours and Anomalies Centre at SCH. This includes the use of anticoagulants, chemotherapy and more recently the use of novel agents to treat this complex, heterogeneous group of disorders.
