Dr. Lisa Kahalley is Professor and Associate Chief of Research for the Division of Psychology, Department of Pediatrics, at Baylor College of Medicine, and Director of Neurobehavioral Oncology at the Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center at Texas Children’s Hospital, USA. Dr. Kahalley is a pediatric psychologist by training, and she leads a multi-disciplinary, NIH-funded research program in radiation-related neurocognitive late effects in pediatric neuro-oncology. Her work has been at the forefront of characterizing neurocognitive risk and sparing associated with proton radiotherapy compared to other treatments in neuro-oncology. She is an active member of the Children’s Oncology Group, currently serving as Vice Chair for Career Development in the Behavioral Sciences Committee and as Chair of the Mentorship Subcommittee within the Young Investigators Committee.
